DTH hammer drill bit classifiable

DTH hammer drill bits are an important component of down-the-hole hammer drilling systems, and they can be classified in various ways based on different standards and application areas. Here are some of the main classification methods for down-the-hole hammer drill bits:

DTH Classifiable

1. You can sort 'em by what the teeth are made of.:

You've got bits with carbide teeth, which are good for medium to hard rock. They're pretty tough.
Then there are the fancy ones with PDC teeth, which are like diamond-tipped. Those are for super hard rock, and they drill like a beast.

2. The way they're put together:

Some bits have roller cones on the bottom, like little wheels that crush the rock. Those are called roller cone bits.
Others just use the impact from the hammer to smash the rock. Those are your basic impact bits, and they work in lots of different rock types.

3. What they're used for:

There are bits made for mining, where you need to drill a bunch of holes for blasting.
Then there are bits for drilling water wells, which need to make clean, straight holes.
And there are even bits for geothermal drilling, where it's super hot and tough down there.
Also some are for building, when you need to make holes for foundations, or tunnels.

4. How big they are:

They come in all sorts of sizes, from small ones for little holes to huge ones for big jobs.
