How to extend the life of drill pipe

When using a new drill pipe, the Drilling Rig manufacturer should make sure that the wire fasteners on the front cut-off (protecting the shaft head) of the drill bit are also close to the new one. A ring-buckled rotating head can easily damage the wire fasteners of the new drill pipe, resulting in leaks, snaps, and loosening, and so on.

The buckles should be tightened slowly to minimize overheating and wear.

Each time you put on the buckle, you must use full torque to tighten it, and always pay attention to whether the clamping piece is in good condition or not.
 
Shorten the distance that the drill rig backs up into the ground entrance, because if the drill pipe lacks support, it will cause the drill pipe to bend and deform easily as it advances into the guide, resulting in a shorter life span.

Keep the entrance angle as small as possible and slowly change the angle according to the safety requirements of the drill pipe. 

Do not exceed the large bending radius of the drill pipe, and pay special attention to the change of angle when drilling into the horizontal section and when drilling out.
 

Keep rotating the use of drill pipe, avoiding the fixed drill pipe to hit the guide and expand back, must be rotated to avoid excessive wear and breakage of the pipe.
