The long-term overload operation of the drilling rig during the running in period leads to frequent early machine failures, which not only affects the normal use of the machine and shortens its service life, but also affects the project progress due to machine damage. Therefore, during the running in period, full attention should be paid to the use and maintenance of water well drilling rigs.
1、 The characteristics of the running in period of water well drilling rig:
01. The water well drilling rig wears out quickly. During operation, due to the influence of new machine parts processing, adjustment, and assembly, the friction surface is rough, the contact area of the mating surface is small, and the surface stress is uneven, accelerating the wear of the mating surface of the parts. 02. To a certain extent, due to the small clearance between newly assembled parts, it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of the clearance when using a water well drilling rig. Lubricating oil (grease) is not easy to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface, thereby reducing lubrication efficiency and causing early abnormal wear of the parts. 03. Newly processed and assembled parts are prone to loosening due to factors such as heat, deformation, and rapid wear. 04. To a certain extent, during the use of a water well drilling rig, leakage may occur on the sealing surface and pipe joints due to the influence of loose parts, vibration, and machine heating. To a certain extent, operators of water well drilling rigs should receive training and guidance from manufacturers, and effectively fully understand the structure and performance of their drilling rigs, in order to gain some operation and maintenance experience before operating the machines. 2、 Use and maintenance of water well drilling rig during the running in period
01. Operators should receive training and guidance from the manufacturer, fully understand the structure and performance of the drilling rig, and gain some operation and maintenance experience before operating the machine. The product operation and maintenance manual provided by the manufacturer is necessary information for operators to operate the equipment. Before operating the machine, you must first read the operation and maintenance manual and follow the requirements of the manual for operation and maintenance. 02. Pay attention to the workload during the running in period. In general, the workload during the running in period should not exceed 80% of the rated workload. An appropriate workload should be arranged to prevent the machine from overheating caused by prolonged continuous operation. 03. Pay attention to regularly observing the indications of various instruments. If there is any abnormality, stop the vehicle in a timely manner to troubleshoot. Stop the operation until the cause is found and the fault is resolved. 04. Pay attention to regularly checking the level and quality of lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, brake fluid, and fuel (water), and pay attention to checking the sealing of the entire machine. During the inspection, it was found that there was insufficient oil and water, and the cause needs to be analyzed. At the same time, the lubrication of each lubrication point should be strengthened. It is recommended to add lubricating grease to each lubrication point during the running in period (except for special requirements). 05. Before starting the machine, lubricating grease should be added to the elevator, as dirty water containing mud and sand can easily enter and wear the bearings, reducing the sensitivity of the drilling rig elevator. To maintain the cleanliness of the machine, adjust and tighten loose parts in a timely manner to prevent wear or loss of parts due to looseness. 06. At the end of the running in period, perform mandatory maintenance on the machine, perform inspections and adjustments, and pay attention to changing the oil. In addition, before starting work, it is necessary to check the oil level and quality of the fuel tank, as well as whether the oil level of each reducer gear is sufficient and whether the oil quality is normal. 07. Check the steel structure for cracks, corrosion, desoldering, and other damages. Check whether the main and auxiliary steel wire ropes have broken wires and whether the connections are intact and safe. 08.
